Cleveland Orchestra composer wins prize

Jörg Widmann, the Cleveland Orchestra’s Daniel R. Lewis Young Composer Fellow, has won the 2008-09 Elise L. Stoeger Prize, awarded by the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center. The $25,000 prize is a cash award and the largest prize given for chamber music composition.
