Massimo and Frank, Center Stage

Did you know that Massimo La Rosa, The Cleveland Orchestra's principal trombone, previously was a member of the opera orchestra at the famous La Fenice opera house in Venice?  






Or that the Orchestra's principal oboe, Frank Rosenwein, is an avid chamber musician who has spent summers at Marlboro Music in Vermont?

They'll each be featured in the Orchestra's gala concert on Saturday, October 1, at Severance Hall, soloing in music of Ferdinand David and Mozart.
