Orchestra's Jack Sutte gives masterclasses, recital

On September 18, Cleveland Orchestra member Jack Sutte will perform a recital of music for trumpet with piano and organ at First Lutheran Church, 21 South Bedford St., Carlisle, Pennsylvania.  During his visit, he'll also work with composition and brass students in two different masterclasses at Dickinson College.  The 4 p.m. recital includes premiere performances of Robert Pound's sleep cycle, David Loeb's Nightscapes and two newly written fanfares by Dickinson College student composers Ryan Karr and Ilana Rainero-de Haan.

Sutte is giving the recital in collaboration with Dickinson College faculty members Jennifer Blythe and Shirley King.
